Central Park Birds

I took the morning yesterday to go enjoy the birds of Central Park. I got to be up close to birds that are usually really far away. It was wonderful to stand under a feeder and have some of the birds come to me. I could reach out and touch them. Here are some of the birds in attendance

Red-tailed Hawk

Downy Woodpecker

American Goldfinch (Male - Winter plumage)

Tufted Titmouse

Blue Jay just as it takes flight

Blue Jay eating nuts off the ground

Red-winged Blackbird

Gull
